The right pot protects roots and sets the whole look of a plant. Size, material and drainage all matter more than most people think.
السنادين المناسبة تحمي الجذور وتحدد شكل النبتة كاملاً. الحجم والمادة والتصريف كلها أهم مما يظن الكثيرون.
Drainage first
Always choose a pot with a drainage hole, or use a plastic nursery pot inside a decorative one. Roots must never sit in water.
التصريف أولاً
اختر دائماً سنادين بفتحة تصريف، أو ضع أصيص مشتل بلاستيكي داخل السنادين المزخرفة. يجب ألا تبقى الجذور في الماء.
Right size, right material
Pick a pot 2–4 cm wider than the root ball. Terracotta breathes and dries fast; ceramic and glazed pots hold moisture longer.

Frequently asked questions
Do plant pots need drainage holes?
Yes. Without drainage, water collects at the bottom and rots the roots. If you love a pot without a hole, use it as a cover pot over a draining nursery pot.
